Puppet making at Abbeyfield House continues!
A few of us have been meeting regularly to create fabulous puppets from cardboard, fabrics and inexpensive materials. As we make, we’re developing our ideas towards performing a relaxed performance (a happening!) at this year’s Abbeyfield Community Festival (Saturday 12th July).
If you’d like to make a puppet (or get involved in another way), come along. No need to book, just turn up. Don’t worry if you’ve never made a puppet before, it’s a joyous process and there’s lots of support on hand.
Younger makers welcomed if accompanied.
Lots of basic materials and tools available, but please bring along anything in particular (or costly) that you’d like to work with and ideally share.
Pay-as-you-like: to cover costs (glue sticks, tape, paints, etc)
