The Owl & the Pussy Cat

A sneaky peek at some of the creations being made for my new show, ‘The Owl and the Pussy Cat’ – a combination of willow-lantern puppets and shadow puppetry. When I first started making the owl back in February, I was looking to perform with friends at this year’s World Puppet Day Festivals in Athens and Ioaninna in northern Greece. Unfortunately lockdown restrictions curtailed these plans. However as luck would have it, new doors opened and the show will go on!

The Owl and the Pussy Cat will now be performed at the Scratch Space for this year’s Beverley Puppet Festival

We will be performing our 20 minute show on Friday 12th June at 7pm!

Scratch Space is an opportunity for puppeteers/performers to show a new piece of Work in Development – and gain feedback. This year due to the Covid-19 restrictions, the Scratch Space performances will be staged and shown via live stream on Beverley Puppet Festival’s Facebook page.
